Noah Gubb is a conceptual and digital artist currently based in Cardiff.
Noah Gubb's conceptual work focuses on physically materialising moments of subjective interpretation, mis-communication and unique decision making.
His practice employs the participation of artists and non-artists to work within controlled conceptual constructs.
Each enaction of a concept produces a material artefact that illustrates the participants unique interpretation of the protocols.
Noah Gubb's digital work takes a ready-made approach to protocols. Utilising the rules of chess as a pre-defined conceptual construct. He has developed a computer program that draws the movements of chess pieces. Each piece of work visualises the unique decisions of each chess player.
